I wanted the opening of the video to be unique and something I created. After writing the opening script stated below, I set about creating graphics to coincide with the voiceover:
Original script: Music has been around for thousands of years. See? Used in healing rituals and different cultures, humanity has always known of the power of music, but the term Music Therapy is relatively new. But what is Music Therapy? The UK government officially recognised the profession in 1976, forming the Association of Professional Music Therapy. It has since undergone practise and research to become what it is today, with nearly 800 registered therapists working across the country. Some of them are going to tell us more about what Music Therapy is.

I decided to take out the timelines and change the script, because I felt like I wanted a more personalised approach to the project. The introduction need to explain what inspired me to do it in the first place, and the history of music therapy takes that away. Here is the updated script, and finalised opening graphics:
Final script: I've always wanted to help people, and love to sing. When I have been asked what I want to do in the future, and I have said music therapy, no one really knows what it is. It has grown massively over the last 50 years, and I want to show you why it is so important, especially during times of a pandemic. I asked some therapists to tell me more about it.
The graphics took longer than expected so my to do list is pretty similar!
