My ethics application was approved on the 12th November, which took a lot of detailing as confidentiality is key in this profession. After mass contacting to therapists once this had been approved and logistics had been confirmed, I have so far secured 4 interviews and have had interest from 11 participants. My target was to interview at least 6 therapists, so this is really encouraging that so many people are keen to be involved and I have reached my target so early on! I have planned my interview questions as well.
I have created another spreadsheet (see below) which has helped me stay organised about who I have contacted and when, and helps me see who I need to re-email. Some have shown interest but not provided availability, so this helps me to stay on top of so many emails!
It seems that due to confidentiality issues I will most likely not be able to attend sessions, let alone record them, so I will make sure to discuss this with people at the end of the interviews.
